URGO URGOTUL BORDER 8 CM X 8 CM
Descriptions
Urgo Urgotul Border 8 cm x 8 cm is an absorbent hydrocellular adhesive lipid-colloid plaster with a micro-adherent TLC matrix. Urgotul is indicated for acute exudative wounds (2nd degree burns, dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, post-operative wounds, etc.) and chronic wounds (leg ulcers, bedsores, diabetic foot wounds). The Sacrum format is recommended for wounds located in the sacral region (sacral pressure sores, etc.).
Product benefits
- Healing in a moist environment.
Directions for use
Before applying Urgotul Border, the wound should be cleansed with saline solution. If you have used an antiseptic beforehand, we recommend rinsing the wound thoroughly with saline solution. The plaster should be renewed every 2 to 4 days and up to 7 days depending on the volume of exudate and the clinical condition of the wound. The central compress must not be cut (due to the presence of a super-absorbent layer). However, the silicone adhesive edges can be cut with sterile material to conform to different anatomical contours.
Precautions for use
Including a super-absorbent layer, the central compress should not be cut. However, the siliconised adhesive edges can be cut with sterile material to conform to different anatomical contours. In the presence of clinical signs of local infection, treatment may, at the doctor's discretion, be relayed with an antibacterial plaster from the Urgo range (type Urgocell Ag Border). Cut excess hair as close to the skin as possible to ensure good contact with the wound. If used in conjunction with a cream, ointment or emulsion, allow the skin to dry before applying the plaster. Single-use sterile packaging: re-use of a single-use plaster may lead to a risk of infection. Do not use if packaging is damaged. Do not resterilise the plaster.

Hydrocellular, absorbent and adhesive plaster, consisting of a micro-adherent lipido-colloid matrix, combined with an absorbent polyurethane foam and a super-absorbent layer, and an impermeable (but allowing gas exchange) outer backing coated with an adhesive silicone layer.
