Bausch + Lomb Hyarhinol Nasal Spray 15 ml is a humidifying nasal spray solution that contains 0.04% sodium hyaluronate, a natural substance, which is present in many organs of the human body. In addition Hyarhinol contains various salts and a chamomile aroma. Hyarhinol helps to humidify the delicate nasal cavities and mucosa, which is a very important factor in the proper functioning of the entire respiratory system. Under certain conditions, the nose often loses its natural moisture and becomes “dry”. This is caused not only by dry air, dust, pollen or cold, but also by other factors such as certain illnesses or medicines that dry out the mucous membranes. It can also be the result of a cold or its treatment. Hyarhinol is used for prolonged humidification of the nasal mucosa, in heated or air-conditioned atmospheres, and to promote the natural cleansing process of the nasal cavities, for example when the air is laden with pollen, dust or smoke. It is also used as a complementary measure in colds.

Result
With Hyarhinol, nasal breathing and the natural cleansing process of the nose are facilitated, plus the nose is moistened for a long period.

Directions for use
Remove the cap before use. Before using for the first time, press the pump several times to prime it (usually 1 or 2 times). The system is then ready for each subsequent use. Insert the opening of the spray into each nostril and press the pump. At the same time, breathe in gently through your nose. For hygiene reasons, wipe the nozzle with a clean cloth after each use and replace the protective cap. To avoid the risk of contagion, each bottle should only be used by one person.

In most cases, 1 to 2 sprays 3 times a day in each nostril are sufficient. However, if necessary, the number of sprays can be increased. There is no limit to the duration of use.

Precautions for use
In rare cases, allergic reactions may occur. Due to the presence of chamomile flavouring, do not use Hyarhinol in the event of a known allergy to chamomile or other plants in the compositae family, such as arnica, marigold or yarrow, for example. Hyarhinol should be stored at room temperature (less than or equal to 25°c) and should be protected from freezing. The expiry date is shown on the pack and on the label. Do not use this product after the expiry date. After opening, do not keep Hyarhinol for more than 12 weeks. Keep Hyarhinol out of the reach of children.

Composition
sterile aqueous solution with sodium hyaluronate 0.02%, monosodium phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, chamomile flavour, water for injectable preparations.
