Vismed Multi 15 ml is a hypo-osmolar ophthalmic solution recommended for moderate and severe dry eye sensations.

Properties
- Vismed Multi can be used while wearing contact lenses of any type (soft or rigid).
- Vismed Multi contains hyaluronic acid, a natural polymer that is also found in the structures of the human eye. The special physical characteristics of hyaluronic acid give Vismed Multi its important ‘viscoelastic’ and water-retention properties.
- Vismed Multi thus forms a stable film on the surface of the eye that is only slowly removed by the fluttering of the eyelids.
- Vismed Multi thus combines a prolonged effect with maximum comfort. Due to its special composition, Vismed Multi is very well tolerated.
- Vismed Multi is free from preservatives.

Directions for use
Please read the directions for use overleaf carefully. Unless otherwise recommended, instil 1 to 2 drops of Vismed Multi into the eye as required. Remove the cap from the bottle. Turn the bottle upside down. Position the bottle between your thumb and forefinger and orientate it so that the trajectory of the drop is perpendicular to your thumb. Caution: your thumb must not block the opening! For the first use only, start the mechanism by pressing the bottle 10 times in succession. A drop is ejected on the eleventh press: your bottle is ready to use. Gently tilt your head back (at an angle of about 45°). Gently pull your lower eyelid downwards with the fingers of your free hand. Place the thumb holding the bottle over the fingers holding the eyelid. Make sure that the opening of the bottle is facing the open eye. Instil a drop into the eye by pressing vertically on the bottle. It may take a few tries at first. However, the technique is easily acquired by repeating the gesture and positioning the bottle in the same position on the face. If the drop is not expelled, check the position of your fingers. Caution: never force the system.

Precautions for use
Hypersensitivity to one of the components. If problems persist during use of Vismed or after stopping treatment, seek medical advice. Keep out of reach of children. Do not touch the opening of the nozzle, nor put it in contact with the eye. Do not administer Vismed at the same time as other ophthalmic products or medicines as it may alter their effects.
