Uritest 25 strips can be used at home to detect a urinary infection.

Properties
Urinary infections are particularly common in women. 35% of women suffer from it at least once in their lives and 5 to 10% of pregnant women. Any woman or young girl can experience burning that does not necessarily correspond to a urinary infection. That's why Uritest removes any doubt.

Uritest 4 reagent zones test urine for:
- glucose (sugar, glycosuria).
- protein (albumin, proteinuria, albuminuria).
and the 2 indicators of urinary tract infection (cystitis):
- nitrites (nitrituria).
- leucocytes (white blood cells, leucocyturia).

Detection thresholds:
- leucocytes: 5 to 15 leucocytes/field. The test detects a concentration of 10 leukocytes/mm3 or more with a sensitivity of over 90%.
- nitrites: adjusted to a bacterial count of around 100,000 germs/ml (0.6 - 1.0 mg/l nitrite ion).
- protein: 0.15 to 0.30 g/l.
- glucose: 0.75 to 1.25 g/l.

Directions for use
Preferably collect the 1st morning urine in a clean, dry container. Dip the strip and remove it immediately. Read the results after exactly 2 minutes, using the colour scale provided.

Precautions for use
Store at a temperature below 30°C. Do not refrigerate. For in vitro use only. Read instructions before use. Negative or positive results possible. Keep out of reach of children. Uritest Strips is recommended for pregnant women who experience urinary tract infections during pregnancy.
