Descriptions
Urgo Urgotul Absorb 15 cm x 20 cm is indicated for the treatment of all chronic exudative wounds (pressure sores, ulcers, diabetic foot wounds) and acute wounds (2nd degree burns, dermabrasions, traumatic wounds, post-operative wounds), and for adjunctive local treatment of cancerous wounds in association with its specific treatment. Due to its non-adhesive nature, Urgotul Absorb is recommended for the treatment of wounds where the periwound skin is weakened.

Directions for use
Clean the wound with saline solution. Apply UrgoTul then cover with a secondary plaster and hold in place with a Nylex type bandage. Renew every 2 to 4 days, and every 1 to 3 days for epidermolysis bullosa wounds.

Precautions for use
The micro-adherent lipido-colloid mass of Urgotul Absorb adheres to latex surgical gloves, so it is recommended to handle the product avoiding contact with the coated side or using sterile forceps. In the presence of clinical signs of local infection, treatment may, at the physician's discretion, be relayed with an antibacterial plaster of the Urgocell Ag type. This is a single-use plaster: re-use of a single-use plaster may lead to a risk of infection. Do not re-sterilise the plaster. Store the Urgotul Absorb plaster away from moisture, heat (temperature below 25°). Protect from light.

Composition
interface plaster, non-adherent to the wound, consisting of a polyester weave impregnated with hydrocolloid particles (carboxymethylcellulose) and vaseline.
