Descriptions
Thermacare Self-Heating Patch 8h Knee x 2, non-reusable, is intended to be applied to the knee joints. It releases therapeutic heat to help relax tense muscles and reduce joint stiffness.

Principle of thermotherapy
Device comprising cells containing components which, when in contact with air, react with the oxygen in the air to produce constant heat for 8 hours. A thin, ergonomic patch in the shape of a strip that fits perfectly over the knee joints, thanks to its elastic bands and small adhesive areas. Easy to apply and remove, it can also be repositioned. Odourless. Single use.

Directions for use
Open the sachet just before use. The patch may take up to 30 minutes to reach therapeutic temperature (around 40°C). Remove the adhesive ends. Apply the patch to the knee, placing the slit on top of the joint. Do not position the heating cells on the inside of the knee. For people over 55, wear the patch over clothing and not directly on the skin. Stick the adhesive parts to the skin, unless you have sensitive skin or a lot of hair in the area concerned. Fold the elastic bands around the joint to close and hold the patch. Throw the patch away after use. Do not use the patch on the same part of your body each day.

Contra-indications
Do not use with medicated ointments, lotions, creams or ointments. Do not use on damaged skin. Do not use on children under 12 years of age.

Precautions for use
Do not wear for more than 8 hours in any 24-hour period. On medical advice in cases of diabetes, circulatory disorders, heart disease, rheumatoid arthritis or pregnancy.
