PoxKare Potassium Hydroxide Solution 5% 2 ml is an effective and simple 5% potassium hydroxide solution, which works by keratolysis to rapidly eliminate molluscum contagiosum without recurrence or bleeding.

PoxKare acts by keratolysis and causes the virus-infected cells to dissolve, thereby triggering a defence reaction by the skin in the area of the molluscum. The aim of the treatment is to provoke a small, painless inflammation, the disappearance of which is a sign of healing of molluscum contagiosum. It is advisable to act quickly at the first signs of infection. Mechanical methods such as curettage, cryotherapy or electrocoagulation are traumatic, require several sessions and can cause pain in children.

Directions for use
Apply PoxKare morning and evening to the molluscum contagiosum with the flat side of the spatula, precisely depositing a film of product, then leave to dry. Re-moisten the spatula in the bottle every 3 to 5 molluscum. Stop applying to the treated molluscum as soon as inflammation appears, heralding healing (after 4 to 6 days). Inflammation is characterised by redness that persists for at least 12 hours. Continue applying PoxKare to the other molluscum contagiosum until inflammation appears. Wait for the molluscum contagiosum to heal completely (2 to 6 weeks).

Precautions for use
Carefully read the instructions before using the product. PoxKare is not suitable for the treatment of ordinary warts. If you are not sure whether you or your child has ordinary warts or molluscum contagiosum, consult your doctor before using PoxKare. Keep out of reach of children, in a dry place. Do not use if allergic to any of the components.
