Bausch + Lomb Desosept Ophthalmic Ointment 15 g is a medical device to help relieve stye (a bacterial infection taking the form of a small painful boil located at the base of an eyelash, a redness at the edge of the eyelid surmounted by a white spot of pus) or chalazion (an inflammation in the form of a small painful ball located within the eyelid, which can lead to superinfection or the formation of a cyst).

Directions for use
Clean the skin of the eyelids. Apply a small amount of ointment and massage it into the area of the eyelid presenting an external stye or chalazion. The massage should always be carried out in the direction of the gland opening, i.e. on the upper eyelid - from top to bottom - and on the lower eyelid - from bottom to top. If there is no visible improvement within 5 days of beginner treatment, consult a doctor. Apply at least 3 times a day to the skin of the eyelids. If there is no visible improvement within 5 days of beginning treatment, consult a doctor. This product is intended for adults.

Precautions for use
Do not use in the event of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the preparation and discontinue use in the event of an allergic reaction. Do not use on injured or damaged skin. For adults only. Keep out of reach of children. The preparation is intended for external use only. If the preparation comes into contact with the eye, the eye should be rinsed with clean water. Store at temperatures between 15 and 25°C. Do not use for more than 90 days from the date of first opening.
