3M Tegaderm Transparent Film Dressing 6 cm x 7 cm is a sterile plaster, for covering ulcers and preventing the beginnings of pressure sores and pressure areas. It promotes healing in a moist environment and limits bacterial recolonisation for 7 days. Transparency allows visual inspection. Semi-permeable, it is impermeable to water and bacteria, permeable to air and water vapour, and keeps the wound moist.

Directions for use
Read the instructions for use carefully before use. Peel the plaster off the printed backing. Apply to the surface to be treated (first cleaned with saline solution and dried). It can remain in place until healing (for 7 days). Renew the plaster when a local infection appears, or in the event of perforation. A label on a microporous backing, to be stuck to the skin when the Tegaderm 3M is applied, indicates when the plaster was applied. The plaster can be cut to size. Its impermeability means it can be used in showers, baths and sea baths.

Composition
Polyurethane film (less than 25 microns thick) coated with a hypoallergenic, pressure-sensitive acrylate copolymer adhesive. rigid backing with a pre-cut window and silicone paper liner, acting as a frame for laying the film. latex-free. rosin-free.
