Urgo Optiskin 5 Plasters 20 cm x 9 cm is a plaster designed to cover all types of superficial wounds (sutured wounds, dermabrasions) or devices (probes, drains etc.). Optiskin is particularly suitable for use in balneotherapy, or in general, for a rapid return to activity after surgery.

Directions for use
Wash your hands thoroughly. If necessary, remove hair to ensure good adhesion of the plaster using surgical clippers. Carry out haemostasis of the wound if necessary. Thoroughly disinfect the wound. Dry thoroughly. Grasp the paper protectors between thumb and forefinger, and gently release the adhesive surface of the plaster by pulling on either side. Apply the plaster centred over the wound to be protected or the device to be held in place, before removing the paper protectors completely. Apply gentle pressure over the entire surface to ensure the plaster adheres. Remove the transparent protective film from the central slit. Remove the film in successive stretches: on opposite edges, on one edge only, holding the rest of the plaster with the other hand. This technique facilitates gentle, painless removal and reduces the risk of skin irritation associated with frequent dressing changes. Smooth the plaster from the inside out. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice and consult the instructions on the label before use.

Precautions for use
The plaster can remain in place for up to 5 days. Check the integrity of the individual sterility pack before use. Avoid tension during application. Do not use the film on infected wounds or puncture points, bleeding or very exudative wounds. Regularly monitor the wound or puncture site and surrounding areas for signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, unusual odour or suppuration. Single use.

Composition
Composed of 2 elements:
- air contact support, thin transparent polyurethane film coated with an acrylic adhesive mass covered with 2 gripping wings. Covered on top with a removable polypropylene film for easy fitting.
- a non-woven central compress covered with a non-adhesive protective veil.
