Descriptions
Urgo Burns Superficial Wounds 4 Waterproof Plasters are intended for the treatment of 1st degree and 2nd degree superficial burns (blistering) as well as superficial wounds (abrasions, cuts).

Product benefits
The Tulles contain Lipidocolloid Technology (TLC), a unique combination of hydrocolloid particles and petroleum jelly. This formula relieves pain and promotes healing. What's more, the plaster does not adhere to the wound and can be removed painlessly.

Precautions for use
Restricted to the treatment of localised superficial wounds no larger than the size of a compress. On burns, the compress must extend well beyond the burn to allow exudates to be absorbed (the size of the compress, the white part of the plaster, must be at least twice the size of the burn). If there are foreign bodies in the wound, if there is significant bleeding, if you have been bitten or pricked with a sharp and/or soiled object, or if there is no improvement in healing after 6 days, consult your pharmacist or doctor. For any burns in children, ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice. If you notice any clinical signs of local infection (heat, redness extending to the uninjured skin, pain, purulent secretion, swelling, etc.), consult your pharmacist or doctor. For aesthetic reasons, ask your pharmacist or doctor for advice before applying the plaster to the face. Diabetics should only use hydrocolloid plasters under medical or nursing supervision.

Warning
Reusing a single-use product may lead to a risk of infection. Check the integrity of the individual sachet which ensures the sterility of the product before use. The adhesiveness of the plaster may be reduced by the presence of hair, greasy products (creams, etc.) or on joints with high mobility. Do not use if packaging is damaged. Not suitable for baths.

Contra-indications
Do not use in the event of deep 2nd degree or 3rd degree burns. In these cases, medical advice must be sought. Do not apply to mucous membranes. Do not use to cover or fix/maintain a device. Not indicated for arterial foot. Not indicated for infected diabetic foot. Do not use for more than 30 consecutive days.
