Sanofi DulcoSoft Constipation 100 ml is a gentle laxative. It moisturises and softens hard stools for effective, gentle relief of occasional constipation. Its main ingredient, macrogol 4000, has a mechanical action. It is not absorbed by the body. This format contains a measuring cup to help you measure the recommended doses according to age.

Directions for use
DulcoSoft Constipation should be diluted in approximately 150 ml of the drink of your choice, hot or cold (a glass of water, fruit juice or tea for example). In children under 3 years of age, as the dose is lower, the amount of liquid in which the solution must be diluted can be reduced to 50 ml (for 8 ml of solution) or 100 ml (for 16 ml of solution). It is best to take it all at once in the morning. Thanks to the measuring cup included in the box, you can adjust the dose to suit your age. The dose and frequency of administration can be adapted to suit individual needs, ranging from once a day to once every two days. The appropriate dose is the lowest dose that produces regular soft stools.

DulcoSoft Constipation should not be taken for more than 15 days. If constipation persists, the cause of the constipation should be investigated. Read the instructions in the leaflet carefully. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice.

- Adults and children aged 8 years and over
- From 6 months to 1 year: 8 ml of solution per day.
- From 2 to 3 years: 8 to 16 ml of solution per day.
- From 4 to 7 years: 16 to 32 ml of solution per day.
- From 8 years: 20 to 40 ml of solution per day.
For children: only on medical advice.

- Pregnant and breastfeeding women
It can be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding as absorption of macrogol 4000 is negligible. Nevertheless, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advisable to ask your doctor before use.

- Diabetics and people on a low-sodium diet
It is sugar-free and may therefore be suitable for diabetics. It is also suitable for patients on a low-sodium diet.

Precautions for use
It should not be taken for more than 15 days. If constipation persists, the cause of the constipation should be investigated and your doctor consulted.

Composition
potassium sorbate (preservative), macrogol 400, citric acid, purified water. 10 ml solution contains: 5 g macrogol 4000.
