ONIRIS ANTI-SNORING ORTHOSIS

Descriptions
Oniris Anti-Snoring Orthosis is a mandibular advancement orthosis, designed to cause the lower jaw to advance in order to prevent the tongue from coming to rest on the soft palate, thus promoting better passage of inspired air and a sharp reduction in snoring. Medical device in the form of an arched mouthpiece, made from thermoformable plastic (rigid when cold, softening after heating to a low temperature), allowing it to be adapted to the patient's teeth. Guaranteed silicone and bisphenol-A (BPA) free. Hypoallergenic.

It consists of:
- a lower tray marked BAS, with counters on the front.
- an upper tray to be placed on the lower tray thanks to their 2 flat sides.
- a pair of bars in the form of a cluster allowing freedom of movement and customised advancement. They are numbered from 0 to 8 according to their size.

Each clip comprises:
- a free, open part, in the shape of a spanner, which attaches to the upper channel.
- a part attached to the cluster and corresponding to the bottom gutter.

Colour: translucent white.

For whom?
Treatment of snoring and severe to moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnoea Syndrome (OSA). Reduces or eliminates pharyngeal obstruction by keeping the lower jaw in a forward position during sleep.

Directions for use
Customise the trays to the teeth by thermoforming. Wear in the mouth while sleeping. Increase mandibular advancement until symptoms disappear.

Maintenance
Keep the device in its box at a temperature below 45°C. After each use, clean the device with a toothbrush and toothpaste. Then rinse with cold water. The Oniris brace has a lifespan of around two years, one of the longest for self-adapting braces on the market. This lifespan may vary depending on several parameters: the acidity of your saliva, the quality of care, the frequency of wear, whether you suffer from bruxism...

Contra-indications
Oniris is not suitable:
- for people suffering from snoring of nasal origin (if in doubt, consult an ENT specialist).
