NORGINE MOVIGO 20 SACHETS

Descriptions
Norgine Movigo 20 Sachets is a medical device that helps relieve hard stools and constipation in adults (including the elderly) and children aged 2 years and over. It draws water right into the stools to hydrate and soften them and restore natural, regular transit.

Directions for use
- Children aged 2 to 11 years (from 12 kg to 20 kg): 1 to 2 sachet(s) per day, depending on the severity of hard stools or constipation.
- Adults and children over 11 years of age (or over 20 kg): 1 sachet, 1 to 3 times a day, depending on the severity of hard stools or constipation.
If a dose is missed, do not double it. Wait and take the next dose at the usual time. Treatment usually lasts 2 weeks. If necessary, the treatment can be repeated. In the case of renal insufficiency, there is no need to adjust the dosage.

Precautions for use
Do not use this product in cases of known hypersensitivity to macrogol (polyethylene glycol). Do not use in children under 2 years of age. It is recommended not to exceed the suggested quantities, as higher doses may cause unforeseen side effects. Prolonged use may be necessary in cases of intractable and/or chronic constipation. Do not use for more than 30 consecutive days. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor. Constipation may be caused by certain medicines, including analgesics (opioids) and treatments for Parkinson's disease (anticholinergics). It can also result from other illnesses, such as multiple sclerosis or Parkinson's disease. Each sachet is disposable and should only be opened when ready to use. Keep out of reach of children. Consult a doctor before taking this product if you are taking other treatments. To date, there are no known interactions with medicines. However, if you are taking medication at the same time as MoviGo, take the next dose of this product at least 2 hours after taking oral medication or any other medication (including homeopathic medicines) or food supplements, as the osmotic action of macrogol and the acceleration of gastrointestinal transit may alter its effectiveness.

Contra-indications
Do not ingest this product in case of: intestinal stenosis, intestinal perforation, inflammatory bowel disease (e.g. Crohn's disease, haemorrhagic rectocolitis), intestinal obstruction (intestinal occlusion, ileus).

Per sachet: 10 g macrogol 3350 powder.
