Botanical appearance: Sage officinale is not used in aromatherapy (toxic essential oil). Clary Sage has the same highly aromatic grey-green foliage, but differs in having larger leaves and lighter-coloured flowering stems. It was called ‘Toute-Bonne’ because of its many properties.
