Descriptions
Melicare Healing Gel 30 g is indicated for the treatment and healing of wounds occurring after birth: cracked nipple during breastfeeding, wounds of the perineum (episiotomies and tears), caesarean section sutures, everyday wounds for the whole family.

Directions for use
- During breastfeeding: After each feed, apply the equivalent of a rice grain volume of healing gel to the nipple. To make the product easier to apply, mix with a drop of milk at the end of the feed. Protect with a suitable support (nursing cover) to keep the product in contact with the crack. Reapply until the crack has healed. Sterile, fragrance-free and preservative-free, the healing gel is made from ingredients that are 100% compatible with breastfeeding, so there's no need to rinse before feeding.

- For the treatment of a caesarean section: Apply a thin layer of healing gel to the caesarean section suture. Apply an occlusive plaster. Reapply every 2 or 3 days. The application of healing gel can be carried out in the presence of staples or sutures.

- For the treatment of episiotomies, tears: Apply a thin layer of healing gel to the wound on the perineum (episiotomy or tear), after each toilet, on a clean area. Use a sanitary towel for protection. Reapply 2 to 3 times a day.
