Frontline Frontpro Chewable Tablets Dogs 10-25 kg is a fast-acting tablet that rids your dog of fleas and ticks. It protects your dog for at least 5 weeks against fleas and up to 1 month against ticks, and prevents contamination of the home*. Available without a prescription, Frontpro can be given to your dog outside mealtimes.

Directions for use
Take the tablet out of its packaging. Give the tablet to your dog. Check that your dog has swallowed the tablet whole. Wash your hands. Your dog is protected for 1 month.

Frontpro: the right dosage
The active ingredient in Frontpro is afoxolaner. This active ingredient diffuses rapidly into your dog's bloodstream after ingestion, reaching maximum concentration after 2 to 4 hours. Its dosage varies according to the dog's weight:

- Frontpro Chewable Tablets for Dogs 2-4 kg: 11 mg
- Frontpro Chewable Tablets for Dogs 4-10 kg: 28 mg
- Frontpro Chewable Tablets for Dogs 10-25 kg: 68 mg
- Frontpro Chewable Tablets for Dogs 25-50 kg: 136 mg

We recommend renewing your dog's or puppy's treatment monthly during flea and/or tick infestation seasons and according to local epidemiological situations. One box of Frontpro contains 3 tablets and can provide 3 months' treatment for your pet during infestation seasons. In the event of massive flea infestation, treat the areas concerned with a product suitable for the environment and vacuum them regularly.

Contraindications
Do not use in the event of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

Specific warnings for each target species
The parasites must have begun their meal on the host before being exposed to afoxolaner, therefore the risk of transmission of diseases of parasitic origin cannot be excluded. When treating parasitic infestations, all animals living in the same household should be treated with an appropriate drug at the same time. All stages of fleas can infest the dog's basket and its regular resting areas, such as carpets and upholstery. In the event of mass flea infestation and once control measures have been put in place, these areas should be treated with a product suitable for the environment and then vacuumed regularly.

Special precautions for use
Special precautions for safe use in target species: In the absence of available data, consult a veterinarian before treating puppies less than 8 weeks old and/or dogs weighing less than 2 kg bodyweight.
Special precautions to be taken by the person administering the medicine: To prevent children from gaining access to the veterinary medicine, take only one chewable tablet from the blister at a time. Replace the blister pack containing the remaining Chewable Tablets in the box. Wash hands after handling.

Drug interactions and other forms of interaction : None known.

Use during pregnancy, lactation or egg-laying
Laboratory studies in rats and rabbits have not demonstrated teratogenic effects or adverse effects on the reproductive capacity of males and females. The safety of the veterinary medicinal product has not been established during gestation and lactation, or in breeding dogs. Consult a veterinarian prior to any treatment during gestation and lactation or in breeding dogs.

Adverse reactions
Neurological signs (convulsions, ataxia and muscle tremors), pruritus, lethargy, anorexia and mild gastrointestinal effects (vomiting, diarrhoea) have been reported very rarely. These events are generally of short duration and resolve spontaneously. The frequency of adverse reactions is defined as follows:

- very common (adverse reactions in more than 1 in 10 treated animals),
- common (between 1 and 10 in 100 treated animals),
- uncommon (between 1 and 10 in 1,000 treated animals),
- rare (between 1 and 10 in 10,000 treated animals),
- very rare (less than 1 in 10,000 treated animals, including isolated cases).

Overdose (symptoms, emergency conduct, antidotes)
No adverse effects were observed in healthy Beagle puppies over 8 weeks of age treated with 5 times the maximum dose, repeated 6 times at intervals of two to four weeks.
