EPITACT HYPERTROPHIC KELOID SCAR

Descriptions
Epitact Hypertrophic Keloid Scar helps to improve the appearance of hypertrophic scars. It has been developed to prevent raised scarring by applying light but sufficient pressure to the skin for a long time every day.

Directions for use
Read the instructions for use carefully before use. Remove the plate from its packaging. Using scissors, cut a piece slightly larger than the scar (2 cm larger all round). Remove the protective film covering the adhesive side of the device. Then apply the adhesive side to the scar. To allow the skin to become accustomed, the duration of application will be gradually increased according to the kinetics described below until 14 hours per day are reached.
- Days 1 and 2: 4 hours of application / Days 3 and 4: 8 hours of application / Day 5: 10 hours of application /
D 6: 12 hours on / D 7: 14 hours on
- After day 7, the epithelium is ideally worn 14 hours a day and removed every
evening.
- After each use, the piece of plaster must be washed with soap and water. The piece of plaster should be changed when it has deteriorated (2 weeks on average). In areas subject to heavy rubbing, a hypafix-type adhesive can be used to hold the epithelium in place on the scar. Application must be very regular and may last from 2 to 4 months, depending on the improvements observed.
