Directions for use
Cleaning the wound of dirt and bacteria is an essential first step in enabling optimal wound healing. To prevent wound infections, spray the Elastoplast Wound Spray from a distance of approximately 10 cm over the entire wound area. Repeat if necessary, then gently dry the wound and skin area with a sterile compress. It can also be used for chronic wounds and post-operative wound care, in accordance with your doctor's instructions. The Elastoplast Wound Spray for wounds also helps to remove scabs. Gently dry the wound with a Gentle Non-Woven Compress. Next, to avoid any disruption to the healing process, it is important to protect your wound from external aggression caused by dirt and bacteria. Apply the compress and secure it with a Elastoplast fixation strip, wide zone fixation, elastic fixation bandage or cohesive bandage. Monitor your wound regularly and change the plaster daily, unless contraindicated by your doctor. Help your wound to heal quickly and minimise the risk of scarring by applying Elastoplast Healing Ointment regularly and until the wound has completely healed. Gently apply a thin layer once or twice a day. Avoid any contact between the opening of the tube and your wound. Elastoplast Healing Ointment can be used on superficial open wounds throughout the healing process. If necessary, cover the wound with a plaster or compress.
