Alcon Opti-Free Express 355 ml is a sterile isotonic buffered aqueous multifunction solution for hydrophilic soft contact lenses.

Alcon Opti-Free Express Multi-function Solution:
- is indicated for the decontamination (reinforced), cleaning, rinsing, storage of all soft contact lenses (hydrophilic).
- destroys harmful micro-organisms, as well as fungi and even acanthamoeba amoebae (cysts and trophozoites) and eliminates proteins during soaking.
- is formulated for cold decontamination.
- cleans and decontaminates without the usual manual massage of the lenses.

Directions for use
Always wash and rinse your hands before handling contact lenses. Always start handling with the same lens, left or right, to avoid mixing them up. Before using a new dip case, rinse it with a fresh supply of Alcon Opti-Free Express Multi-Function Solution to remove any debris. Cleaning is an important step in all contact lens care procedures. Always clean contact lenses before decontamination.
- Decontamination (comfort formula): Fill the soaking case with a new amount of Opti-Free Express Multi-Function Solution. Place the contact lenses in the case. Soak the lenses in the closed soaking case overnight or for at least 6 hours. The contact lenses are now ready to wear. They can be rinsed after decontamination. Before handling and inserting contact lenses, wash and dry your hands. Always discard the used solution, rinse the dipping case with Alcon Opti-Free Express Multi-Function Solution and allow it to air dry. Frequent replacement of the dip case is recommended.
- Cleaning: It may be advisable to use Opti-Free Express Solution Multi-functions or a different daily cleaner to clean contact lenses. To use Opti-Free Express Multi-Function Solution as a cleaner, apply 2 drops to each side of the lens. Clean each side of the lens by rubbing gently into the palm of your hand. Rinse both sides of the lens thoroughly. Alcon Opti-Free Express Multi-Function Solution can be used to rinse debris or daily cleaners from the surface of contact lenses or to dissolve Alcon Enzymatic Cleaners and rinse contact lenses prior to wear. Contact lenses can be stored in an unopened case for up to 30 days until they are ready to be worn. If contact lenses are stored for longer, they should be cleaned and decontaminated with a fresh supply of solution every 30 days before wearing.
- Deproteinisation: with traditional soft lenses, it is recommended to use supraclens enzymatic solution in addition to Alcon Opti-Free Express Solution Multi-functions.

Precautions for use
Store at room temperature. Always use a fresh quantity of Alcon Opti-Free Express Solution Multi-functions. Never reuse the solution from the dip case. To avoid contamination, never touch anything with the tip of the bottle. Replace the cap after use. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Discard any remaining solution 6 months after first opening. Do not use for hot (thermal) decontamination.

polyquad 1.0mg, myristamidopropyl dimethylamine 0.5 mg, excipients : sodium chloride, sorbitol, disodium edetate (edta), boric acid, aminomethylpropanol, cleaning agents (citrate and poloxamine ).
