ADVANTIX VERY LARGE DOG 6 PIPETTES
Descriptions
Advantix Very Large Dog 6 Pipettes (for dogs from 40 up to 60kg) is a broad-spectrum anti-pest with a repellent and lethal action. Advantix has a repellent (anti-biting) effect against ticks, sandflies and mosquitoes, preventing the parasites from drawing blood from the dog. As a result, the risk of disease transmission is reduced (piroplasmosis, Lyme disease, ehrlichiosis, dirofilariosis, leishmaniasis, etc.). Advantix also has a repellent (anti-biting) effect against stable flies, helping to prevent fly-bite dermatitis. Advantix combines two active ingredients for a winning combination and optimum efficacy against external parasites (ticks, fleas, mosquitoes and sandflies): imidacloprid - a very fast-acting flea repellent molecule - and permethrin - a highly effective acaricide and repellent molecule.
Directions for use
Advantix is easy to administer: one Advantix pipette, applied directly to your dog's skin. For dogs over 40kg, simply combine 2 Advantix pipettes. For example, for a 60kg dog, combine 1 pipette of Advantix Medium Dog and 1 pipette of Advantix Large Dog. With one application of Advantix, your dog will be effectively protected against ticks, fleas, mosquitoes and sandflies.
Hold the dog in an upright position to facilitate application. The entire contents of the Advantix pipette should be applied in one to four points from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. At each point, spread the dog's hair until the skin is clearly visible. Place the tip of the Advantix pipette on the skin and press gently to deposit a dose of the solution on the skin. At each point, take care not to apply too much solution so that the product doesn't run down the dog's sides. Ask your veterinarian for advice: he or she will tell you which anti-pest solution is best suited to your dog and can show you how to apply the Advantix treatment correctly.
Tips for effective treatment
If you own several dogs, we advise you to treat them all regularly, to avoid re-infestations between animals following the emergence of new fleas, for example. Other pets in the house (especially cats) should also be treated against fleas with a suitable product (Advantage Chat for example). To keep contamination of your pet from the environment to a minimum, Advantix also benefits from efficacy on flea larvae.
Precautions for use
Contra-indications: In the absence of available data, do not treat puppies aged less than 7 weeks and weighing less than 1.5 kg. Do not use in the event of known hypersensitivity to the active ingredients. Do not use in cats. Wash hands thoroughly after application. Avoid all contact of the product with the skin, eyes and mouth. In the event of accidental contact with the skin, wash immediately with soap and water. In the event of accidental contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water. If skin or eye irritation persists, or if the product is accidentally swallowed, consult a doctor and show him/her the instructions. Do not allow children to play with treated animals until the application site is dry. Read the leaflet carefully.
